Nurturing Curious Minds

Sensory Play

Sensory play encourages children to explore using touch, sight, sound and movement, helping them to better understand the world around them. Through activities like water play, sand, textures and messy materials, children develop fine motor skills, creativity and early problem-solving. It also supports emotional regulation, allowing children to express themselves freely in a calm and engaging way.

Outdoor Play

Outdoor play is a big part of our day, giving children the space and freedom to move, explore and build confidence naturally. Activities like climbing, balancing, running and scooting help to strengthen muscles, improve coordination and support overall physical development. Being outside also encourages curiosity, imagination and a connection with nature, all while supporting children’s wellbeing.

Baking

Baking is a fun and hands-on way for children to learn everyday skills while building confidence and independence. Through measuring, mixing and following simple steps, children are introduced to early maths concepts and develop fine motor skills. It also encourages patience, focus and a sense of achievement, while creating a positive and enjoyable learning experience.
